About Course

The Journey

Do you have the qualities that a childminder needs?

Being a childminder is a special job as you are helping to mould a human being. The forming years of a person’s life are very important.

From the time a baby is born until the age of 7 years the child’s IQ and personality will be completely formed. These are the forming years, and it takes a special person to help a child to form into the adult that they will become one day.

The qualities that a childminder should have besides skills and knowledge should also be sensibility and understanding with endless patience.

The ability to remain calm in all situations and work well with all personalities. To accept criticism and work well under pressure as well as excellent verbal communication skills.

Flexibility is needed for change and the desire to want to help

These qualities are vital besides compassion and love for children and people

This course has been designed to help you care for infants and I hope that you will enjoy the journey

Thank you

Why is Infant Care Special?

Babies are all innocent and because they are all cute, we love to hold them and cuddle them. We can give them care to mould them into the humans that they will become in the future. Besides, they are a gift to us all and we should treasure them.

We love to see them smile and try to say their first word. We love to see them taking their first step and most of all, we love it when they recognize us.

The most valuable intangible asset in life is love, and you should remember this above all when you take care of an infant. Love above all is the first and last thing on your list everyday of your life in taking care of an infant.
